I am an exceptional children’s teacher and learning specialist with over 9 years of experience working with students of all age groups and levels of performance. I have extensive experience tailoring instruction to meet individual needs of students based on assessment data and using research-based interventions and strategies. I am a certified Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner (W.D.P.) instructor and have experience with Orton-Gillingham approach.
Subjects
- Reading – decoding, fluency, comprehension, informational texts, and vocabulary development
- Writing – spelling, sentence structure, organization, and developing complex texts
- Math – basic math through algebra; computation, and word problems
- Study Skills – organization, notetaking, and time management
Rates & Policies
- The rate is $60 per hour of services, $45 for 45-minute sessions.
- 45-minute session minimum
- Payment for tutoring is due monthly. I will send an invoice. I accept check, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
- If your child will need to miss a session, please notify me by phone or email at least 3 hours prior to the start of the scheduled session to avoid being charged for the session.
Scheduling
- Sessions are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
- Options include virtual, in-home, and community-space services
Cancellation Policy
- If your child will need to miss a session, please notify me by phone or email at least 3 hours prior to the start of a scheduled session.
- Cancellation 1-3 hours before session will result in $20 fee.
- Cancellation within one hour of scheduled session will result in full charge for session.
